SPIRITS were high as over 500 participants crossed the finish line on Denny Street for the Rose 10k on Sunday morning.
The weather was a washout, but this didn’t stop runners from enjoying the new route which set off from the Wetlands at 11.30am.
The first three across the line in the Men’s Race were Mark Hanrahan (30.39), Jerry Griffin (34.16) and Gary Egan (34.40).

In the Women’s Race, the first three were Laura Crowe (35.47), Sharon Cahill (40.07) and Rachel Stokes (40.21).
