THE spotlight was firmly on the gentlemen on Thursday at Listowel Races with the return of the Ryle Menswear Best Dressed Man Competition, hosted by owner Michael Moran and judged by Niall ‘Botty’ O’Callaghan.
There were literally hundreds of well dressed gentlemen on the race course from all over the globe including finalists from Texas and the UK.
The overall winner was Kevin Ross from Ballyduff who received a custom-made suit worth €1,500. The first runner up was Jason Carmody who won a full Benetti suit, shirt and tie. Ryle Menswear also provided generous gift bags for all finalists.
The style continues on Friday with the McElligotts Kia Ladies Day judged by Frankie Foster and Aoife Dunican. Winners will be announced in the parade ring after the fifth race.
