.Dingle Way Challenge
Last Sunday saw St. Pats GAA host their Dingle Way Challenge with the aim to raise funds for the development projects the club is undertaking to enhance our facilities for our players, members, and the greater community in general, and it was a resounding success!
Overall, the event was successful to date with 240 participants ensuring that all the hard work put by the committee and club in general paid off.
The club would like to use this opportunity to thank our main sponsors, Poff Motors, 3D Personnel, Abbey Veterinary Centre, Divane’s Volkswagen Kerry and all the other businesses who contributed to this event by providing services, food, drinks and donating generously. We encourage all our club members to support these businesses in any way they can.
Many thanks to Derryquay ICA for helping with the catering, also thank you to Jason Hingston and the Scouts for operating the BBQ, our club members and members of the general public who supported the event by participating and contributing in some small ways to the smooth running of this event.
Thank you to the Red Cross and those who provided medical care throughout the route on the day of the walk. Well, done to the organising committee for the meticulous planning in ensuring everything ran like clockwork and to anyone who gave their time in the led up to the event. Finally, a huge thanks goes to all the walkers who participated and ensured that it was a success.
It would not have happened without your participation, and we appreciate it. Our new Dingle Way Challenge website which was recently launched www.dinglewaychallenge.ie will showcase all of this year’s photos and allow you to see the route once decided next year for 2027.

Community Get Together
Curraheen Community Council Invites you to an evening of Fun and Music in the community room, Curraheen, on Wednesday, June 10th of at 7pm. Refreshments will be served. Everyone welcome!
Derrymore Beach Clean Up
A clean-up will take place organised by Curraheen Community Council on Friday June 12th at 7pm. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Bags and gloves will be provided. Meet at the main car park of derrymore Beach at 7pm.
Juvenile Academy
Our Juvenile Academy did not place last Sunday due to our Dingle Way Challenge event.
U10 Girls
Well done to the girls who played against Castlegregory on Friday night 29th of May, they were all in good spirits throughout and kept it fun which was great to see. Keep up the practicing as we are not training Sunday due to the Dingle Way Challenge. Best of luck if you are taking part and enjoy the long weekend.
U12 Girls
There was a great all-round performance again last Friday night 29th of May. You are getting better and surprising us every week with the performances you are putting in. Keep up the good work and practice. There will be no training this Sunday so have a well-deserved break. Our next game is next Wednesday 3rd of June in Blennerville against Currow at 6,30pm. Well done again, thank you to Beale for travelling to us.
