MORE than 100 amateur cyclists set off this morning from Cork City on a challenging 600km journey through the six counties of Munster raising vital funds for the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI).
Cycling legend Seán Kelly has once again joined the Tour de Munster, riding through Munster’s cities, towns and villages, with the event culminating in a spectacular uphill finish on St. Patrick’s Hill in Cork City this Sunday.
The cyclists will spend quite a bit of time in the Kingdom during the four day event and will arrive in Tralee tomorrow afternoon/evening.
