21/5/24 ***NO REPRO FEE*** Minister O’Donovan announces over 11,400 free or subsidised places available under Springboard+ and HCI Pillar 1 2024 course. This year, a total of more than 11,400 free and subsidised higher education places on 355 courses are being made available nationwide. Courses are available across a wide range of sectors and aim to address critical skills shortages and emerging technological demands. The offering includes courses in Cybersecurity; Virtual Reality; Health Innovation; Logistics; Climate, Sustainability, and Energy; and many more. The courses are open to people who are unemployed, or those who are in employment and are looking to upskill or change career. Pic:Marc O'Sullivan
Details of the opportunities for upskilling and reskilling under the two initiatives were unveiled today by Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Patrick O’Donovan TD and Minister of State for Skills and Further Education, Niall Collins TD.
