Three Blues Named In Kerry Team To Face Dublin

JUST eight of Kerry’s 2015 All-Ireland Final side are named in the starting 15 for Kerry’s Allianz National League opener against Dublin in Croke Park this Saturday at 7pm.

Three Kerins O’Rahilly’s men feature in the team that will look to get one back on Dublin after the disappointment of last September.

Tommy Walsh gets a chance to impress in the full-forward line alongside Barry John Keane while David Moran starts again in midfield.

Kerry are without a number of key players for various reasons.

Colm Cooper (shoulder), Aidan O’Mahony (eye), Anthony Maher (hip), James O’Donoghue (shoulder), Paul Geaney (back), Kieran O’Leary (Achilles), Mikey Geaney (back), Marc Ó Sé (rested), Kieran Donaghy (basketball) and Bryan Sheehan (club).

Brian Ó Beaglaoich of An Ghaeltacht, who won an All Ireland Minor medal in 2014, makes his League debut at corner back.

Philip O’Connor from Cordal gets his first National League start also having been introduced as a sub in a number of league games last season.
