AN Orange Status wind warning has been issued for Kerry and Cork tonight as the latest storm heads our way.

Storm Imogen will bring westerly winds reaching mean speeds of 65 to 75 km/h with gusts of 100 to 120 km/h, strongest winds along the coast.

The weather warning is valid from 2am on Monday to 9am later tomorrow morning.

There will also be extreme waves along the southwest and west coast during this period with wave heights of between 12 and 15m possible.
