KETTLES were boiled and ovens were working overtime all around Tralee yesterday morning as businesses and homes held fundraisers for the annual Kerry Hospice Coffee Morning.
Thousands of euro was raised around the town, county and nationwide in the event which has been going now for over 26 years.
Na Gaeil GAA Club saw a big crowd attending for the vast array of goodies, while AIB held a coffee morning with the help of The Roast House, The Ashe Hotel and The Imperial Hotel.

Head of AIB Kerry, Sean Healy, said all branches in the county were hosting a fundraiser and they were delighted to do so for a facility that provides care for so many people.
Speaking on Friday morning at a fundraiser in Maher’s Windmill Cafe in Blennerville, Maura O’Sullivan of Kerry Hospice was delighted with the efforts people went to to support and organise events.
“We’re very pleased on how it all went. We had a great turnout at the venues in The Grand Hotel, Blennerville Rehabcare, Na Gaeil and many businesses and houses in the area including here at Maher’s Windmill Cafe,” said Maura. Scroll down for photos…
