THERE’S was a healthy crowd at the St John’s annual bazaar in the KDYS last night with great bargains and prizes galore to be won.
With an auction — handled by Eddie Barrett — and raffle tickets sold during the evening there were loads of winners and some of the vast array of hampers were taken away by lucky punters.
The fun continues on Saturday from 7pm and Sunday from 2.30pm with great door prizes, hotel vouchers, meal vouchers, heating oil vouchers and household furnishings and those Christmas hampers to be won.
Last year, just over €40,000 was raised from the event, with the proceeds going towards the annual upkeep of three churches within St John’s Parish (Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathass, St Brendan’s, Curraheen and St John’s Church in Castle Street). Scroll down for photos…
