Motor Enthusiasts Look Forward To Circuit Of Kerry Rally

THE Rose Hotel Circuit of Kerry rally takes place over the weekend of April 7 and the event was launched at the hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Organised and promoted by Kerry Motor Club, this year’s clerk of the course is Eoin Duffin who together with the organising team has put together a challenging route in the Castleisland area.

The Rose Hotel is again rally HQ, and with the service park adjacent to the hotel proves to be very popular with crews and spectators alike.

As round two of the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship and the first round of The Kingdom of Kerry Rally Championship sponsored by Moriarty Centre Farranfore, Kerry Motor Club will showcase some of the county’s best rally stages.

This year will we hold a showcase of rally carsin the centre of Tralee on Saturday the 6th bringing the rally atmosphere to a broader audience.

The Rally will be a significant boost to tourism and brings revenue to many towns and villages around Tralee and the Castleisland area with thousands of spectators attending over the weekend; the Rally will enjoy massive local media attention with Radio Kerry providing bulletins.

On the pacenotes.com there’ll be live coverage after every stage to an average of 50 to 60 thousand viewers globally.

Entries received so far include competitors from Ireland and the UK and a few crews who have never competed on Kerry tarmac. This year’s rally is shaping up to be up an exciting event.
