THE John Mitchels GAA Club social was another sellout success last night with just under 200 attending in The Rose Hotel.
Having revived the social back in 2022 after a break of 13 years, the demand was clearly there to host a social gathering again and once again celebrated the achievements of past players.
Members of the Under 21 team who won the County Championship in 1983 were the guests of honour and received a special award to mark the occasion.

A number of awards were also given out including Men’s Player of the Season to Pat Kearney and Future Player of the Year to Brian O’Donnell, while the Senior Ladies Player of the Year was Kayleigh Collins and Future Player of the Year was awarded to Aoife O’Brien.
Guests at The Rose Hotel were treated to a welcome drinks reception, followed by a four course meal and entertainment on a great night out. Scroll down for photos…
