AROUND 100 ladies enjoyed a great night of style tips at a fundraiser for a great cause at the Rose Hotel on Thursday.
It was all to help the fundraising efforts of five local ladies who are taking on the Camino de Santiago all in aid of The Irish Guidedogs for the Blind.
The ladies – Sheila Brosnan (Ballymac), Margaret O’Shea (Oakpark), Anne O’Riordan (Oakpark), Joan Hill (Doon) and Josephine Flood (Kilflynn) – are cycling and walking the route in September.
Organised by Mairead O’Carroll of Unislim Tralee/Killarney, ladies enjoyed a glass of wine on arrival, with tasters of the new Unislim Sandwich range in Gala Mounthawk and Oakpark.
Then Stylist Niamh Smith took the floor to offer tips. Those present learned about what styles suit them and received valuable hints, tips and techniques for maximising their own personal style.
“It’s a very relaxed night,” said Mairead O’Carroll, just before the event started. “Niamh will have a few volunteers going up and she’ll advise them on the shape and style that suits them. We have loads of spot prizes given generously by businesses, The Rose Hotel has been fantastic to us and the ITT gave us the sound system which we’re appreciative of. I’m delighted with everyone that turned out here for the night,” said Mairead. Scroll down for photos…
