THE students in CBS are a well-travelled lot recently with two separate groups recently returning from Holland and Italy.
Fifth year students went in a ski trip earlier this month to Bertoldi in the Italian Alps above Lake Lavarone, also spending a day in Milan.
It was the first time a group from the school went skiing and 21 pupils with teachers Karen Tobin, Dale Counihan, Des Healy and Niamh O’Mahony, really enjoyed the experience.

It was a huge success and thankfully everybody came home injury free.
Elsewhere, five students from the school went off the Netherlands as part of their success in The Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition last year in which they won five calves to rear.
This trip really showed the student what it is like to work in the food industry. The students have now followed the rearing of cattle from farm to fork.
They are rearing their own cattle. They visited a slaughter house, meat processing butchery, a marketing research centre (bordbia Dublin), a sales and marketing headquarters (Albert Heijn) as well a Dutch supermarket to see the final product displayed.
