TIS only weeks away now.
The images below are enough to bring joy to hundreds and a sense of foreboding to many more younger readers.
The Dome is going up which means the Rose of Tralee Festival and all the fun it brings is near. But as night follows day, school time follows the festival and thus the end of summer!
But let’s take the glass is half full approach here and look forward to some great days ahead in August.
The Rose of Tralee twitter account tweeted images from the site of the Dome and it shows it won’t be long before it’s up and ready to host a range of entertainment from August 16.

The day Tralee has a permanent rose dome will be a great day. If the powers that be have any common sense they will have it incorporate a rose of Tralee museum too.
