THE weather wasn’t ideal but that didn’t put off over 85 hardy souls for the fourth annual Ardfert Harvest Cycle.
Held to raise funds for Ardfert NS, the leisure cycle had two routes, 32km and 70km, providing a challenge for both the novice and experienced cyclist.
The rain threatened all morning and there was a few showers, but all enjoyed the cycle and there was a BBQ, raffle and music with all proceeds going to the Ardfert school hall building fund.
Principal Betty Stack said she was delighted with how the cycle went and the atmosphere that was created around the village and is already looking forward to the 5th instalment of the event.
A kids fun cycle was also held on Sunday morning, so it really was a weekend of activity and fun for all the family. Scroll down for photos…
