KERRY legend Declan O’Sullivan has announced he will no longer be playing football.
After undergoing knee surgery this morning the three-time All-Star made the announcement on Twitter, stating “After my op this morning sadly my football journey is over”.
The five time All-Ireland winner hung up his boots with Kerry at the end of last year citing persistent knee trouble.

The 31-year-old ended his career on a high picking up a senior championship county title with South Kerry last month and his fifth in total.
This year, the Dromid Pearses clubman tasted coaching experience helping the Kerry minors achieve a back-to-back All-Ireland title alongside his former boss and neighbour, Jack O’Connor.
