JUST when we think things are getting better, we’re back with a warning.
It’s been mild and (mostly) dry over the past few days but change is on the way according to Met Éireann.
Last night they issued a ‘Weather Advisory for Ireland’ saying cold and wintry weather will develop from Sunday evening.
Continued below…
Showers of hail, sleet and snow will occur in places. Snow showers will be most frequent in Ulster and Connacht and especially so on high ground. The advisory is valid from 6pm on Sunday until Tuesday at 3pm.
According to the rainfall radar on the Met Eireann website, it looks like we’re in for some heavy rain in Kerry early this evening and on Monday afternoon.
It’s going to be very cold too with temperatures barely getting over 5 degrees even during the day on Monday and Tuesday.
