IT was well worth the trip to Listowel for a Ballyheigue native on Sunday as she won the best dressed lady at Listowel Races on Sunday.
Aine Wall, who now lives in Derrymore East, Tralee, was the winner of the top prize of a cheque for €800 sponsored by Listowel Race Company.
First runner up was Ann Marie Corbett who received a cheque for €400 and second runner up was Faith Amond, who received a cheque for €200.

Ladies Day was judged by top fashion blogger, Helen Quealy Murphy, aka Daily Diva Diary.
Aine Wall was wearing a headpiece by Laura Hanlon millinery and an A-line styled fitted red dress from Bamboo in Ardfert.
Ann Marie Corbett wore a wide brimmed headpiece with summer strawberries by Carol Kennelly millinery, and a two piece burnt orange Bardot styled suit from Phoenix V.
Faith Amond wore a cream Louise Kennedy dress and cape and a Montgomery millinery headpiece.
Racing at the scenic course continues on Monday and the annual 7 day harvest festival meeting is from 8th to 14th of September.
As always, in addition to top quality National Hunt and Flat racing, the Listowel Racing Committee organised music after racing each evening.
