PEIL FAOI 6: NB…NB…Please, note CHANGE of VENUE for the U6 boys (2012/13)! They will be in action in The Green CBS Gym at 11am (as ‘mock’ examinations will be taking place in Meánscoil Chnoc an tSeabhaic). See you all in The Green!
PEIL FAOI 8: Nota Bene…Please, note change of venue for the U8 boys (2011/2010)! Our training will be held in The Green CBS Gym at 12.00 (mar beidh triailscrúduithe ar siúl i gCnoc an tSeabhaic).
PEIL FAOI 10: More great football by the U10s last Sunday morning! Under 10 Boys (2008/2009) at 11 am at the The Green (CBS) Astroturf Pitch ar an Domhnach beag seo. Training will take place indoors if it’s wet outside.
PEIL FAOI 12: Our Under 12 footballs’ training in Na Cruaghoirt, Connolly Park, went well again last Sunday and was enjoyed by all. Dé Domhnaigh seo chugainn arís ag 3pm.

PEIL FAOI 14: (i) The U14s had a good turnout on Sunday last. We’re following our S & C Programme and, so, overall fitness and movement will gradually improve and, gan dabht, injury prevention will be a priority. (ii) Good luck to those who’ll be travelling to the Mick O’Brien Tournament at the Nemo Rangers Club on Saturday next (3ú). Will we see the first medals of 2018? Players/parents, expect text. (iii) TDB A league fixtures: ROINN 1: 24ú Feabhra at 4pm…Ades A (away) v Baile Mhic Eileagóid; 3ú Márta at 4pm…AdeS A (ag baile) v Na Gaeil; 10ú Márta ag 4pm…AdeS A (as baile) v K-O’R. (iv) TDB B fixtures: ROINN 3: 24ú Feabhra ag 3pm…AdeS B (as baile) v Baile Mhic Eileagóid; 10ú Márta ag 3pm…AdeS B (at home) v K-O’R. (v) TDB rialacha/treoracha: (a) games may be 13 or 15 aside depending on team numbers; (b) top two teams in each division will play in the final; (c) only teams that have played all games will be eligible to play in the finals; (d) extra time will be played in finals if necessary; (e) Coiste Thrá Lí has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy in regard to the use of foul and abusive language; this policy may encourage younger people to take up refereeing; referees are being instructed by an coiste to report such abuse or foul language and all reports of same will be dealt with by the CCCC. CISPHEIL FAOI 16: Commiserations to the Tralee CBS basketballers who were pipped in the Schools Basketball All-Ireland Final against St Malachy’s College, Béal Feirste. Comhbhrón le leaideanna na Carraige a bhí ar an bhfoireann….Peadar Ó Céirín, Niall Mac Muiris agus Lúcás Chester. Beidh lá eile ag an bPaorach!

PEIL FAOI 16: Our Under 16 players are back in training on Fridays and on Sundays. We have a ‘big’ year ahead as we attempt to retain our county crown. The Central League will start in March. Chun na hoibre linn!

CORN UÍ MHUIRÍ: Best wishes to The Green CBS seniors, Seán Quilter, Eoghan Carroll, David Fitzmaurice and Daniel O’Rourke, in the Munster Colleges (Corn Uí Mhuirí) football semi-final. Beidh siad ag tabhairt aghaidh ar Choláiste Choilm, Baile an Chollaigh. Cluiche/dúshlán mór é seo do bhuachaillí na Faiche! Beidh an cluiche á imirt ag an deireadh seachtaine beag seo. We hope to have a good result after the weekend!

SCÓR na bPÁISTÍ: Scór na bPáistí (primary school age) for the Greater Tralee Area will take place on Friday 2nd March at 6.30pm i nGaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Ráth Rónáin. Entry date: Friday 23th February. The qualifiers will advance to the county semi-final which will be held at 4pm on Saturday April 7th. The county finals will take place at 2pm on Sunday April 22nd in Foilmore Community Centre. The county final quiz will be held at 11am on Sunday April 22nd; quiz venue to be confirmed.

SCÓR NA SINSEAR: We may have dancers, a solo singer and a reciter representing the club in Senior Scór ’18.The Greater Tralee Area Scór na Sinsear will take place at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 14th February at Na Gaeil Clubhouse. The county finals will take place at 4pm (quiz only) and at 6pm (other 7 competitions) in Bunscoil Mhuire gan Smál, Castleisland, on Saturday 24th February. There will be no Tralee round for the quiz; all teams will go straight to the county final and the winners in the county final quiz will go straight to the All-Ireland. Any club volunteers for the table quiz? The Munster semi-finals for the other 7 items will take place on Saturday March 3rd in Cappamore, County Limerick. The All-Ireland finals will take place in Sligo IT on Saturday April 14th.
