PEIL FAOI 7/8/9: More great Under 7/8/9 football last Sunday morning in Caherslee. All hands on deck again at 11am on Sunday next (18th August) as usual. All welcome!

PEIL FAOI 11: (i) Football-for-Fun will take place at 10.50am on Sunday next (18ú Lúnasa) in Caherslee. (ii) Another exciting and challenging encounter this Thursday (15th – the Holy Day) at 7pm: Na Gaeil v Na Stacaigh in the U11 Boys Central League. Imreofar an cluiche ag Club na nGael ar an gCillín.

FAOI 14: We look forward to the Lee Strand Football (one-day) U14 Tournament (boys born in 2010 or 2011). The games will take place on Saturday September 14th. Trial games will determine who makes the panel! It’ll have to be the best possible Austin Stack Club U14 team. Keep an eye out for group messages for details of training. (Ger Hobbert)

PEIL FAOI 15: (i) We are delighted that our Division 1 boys, tar éis dóibh buachaint ar an nGaeltacht, have qualified for another final…their 2nd of the season…but, as the County District Competition for the U15 boys is underway, there will be a delay in playing the final. This final is expected to be played in mid-September.

We will continue planning, building, working and training for this important match will have extra training sessions for the group on Sundays. Please keep an eye out for group information messages. Also…now is the time to continue putting in the ‘solo miles’ to help maintain fitness and skill levels!

Yes, boys, let’s try to stay fit and injury free for the final. With the bit between the teeth, we hope to be ahead at Becher’s Brook and all the way to the final final whistle! Opposition: Na Gaeil. Up The Rock!

(ii) Our Division 6 lads were unlucky in their semi-final v GGC (Gleann Beithe, Gleann Chárthaigh agus An Cromán).

(iii) We have 14 players involved in the Tralee District team that played and defeated Ciarraí Láir (Mid-Kerry) in the County Championship. Result…Tralee: 2-12; Ciarraí Láir: 3-4. What a great performance by all the Tralee boys in this hotly contested fixture. Imríodh an cluiche i mBaile an Mhuilinn i gCiarraí Láir. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí.

The Tralee District team’s next game has been scheduled for this Wednesday evening (14th) in Connolly Park. Opposition: Castleisland District. (iv) Our three boys on the North Kerry Development squad: Anraí Ó Murchú, Conchúr Ó Riagáin, Eoin Ó Mongáin. We look forward to hearing good reports on their All-Ireland final bid! Good luck, boys! MINORS: Minor schedule: (i) Monday the 12th: Keanes Supervalu Minor County Championship Group 1 Match 2…Kenmare Shamrocks v the Austin Stack Club. Venue: Kenmare. Our minors travelled down to challenge Kenmare in a must win game.

Training had been going well and the boys were well prepared for the encounter. Well played, Men of The Rock! (ii) Monday the 19th: Keanes Supervalu Minor County Championship Group 1 Match 3…Killarney Legion v the Austin Stack Club. Venue: Doirín, Cill Airne. Throw-in: 7pm. Support would be appreciated.
