CNOC AN tSEABHAIC – PEIL FAOI 8: The UNDER 8s (boys born in 2011/12) will be back to Mercy Mounthawk again for next Sunday morning’s session at 12.00. We’re looking forward to another mighty session and, if you haven’t participated yet, come along to the Mercy Mounthawk Gym on Sunday.
PEIL FAOI 10: Sunday morning activity for the UNDER 10 boys will continue at The Green CBS Astroturf pitch at 11am. Anybody who hasn’t resumed yet this season or lads who might like to join The Rock will be most welcome.

(iv) RIALACHA: (1) five goal rule…any goal scored after the 5thgoal counts as a point; (2) 50 minute games; (3) the player who is fouled takes the free kick; (4) the player nearest to the sideline where ball goes out takes sideline kick; (5) the goalkeeper may advance 10m for a kickout; (6) a player can carry the ball for a maximum of 2 movements…2 solos or bounce+solo; (7) 45m kicks to be awarded and to be taken from 40m line; (8) games may be 11-aside; B teams may play 9/10-aside.
CAID FAOI 14: After their enjoyable trip to Nemo Rangers, our U14s will return to training in preparation for the upcoming challenges.
SCÓR NA bPÁISTÍ: (i) The Scór na bPáistí (for club members who attend primary school) Tralee area final will be held on Wednesday March 13th in Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Ráth Rónáin. Club competitors are needed for figure dancing, set dancing, tráth na gceisteanna, rince sean-nóis (individual), ballad group, music group (4 or 5 musicans), recitation/storytelling and sketch. We already have brave volunteers for solo singing and recitation and might yet have a quiz team. Bail ó Dhia orthu. (ii) The county semi-finals for North Kerry will be held on Saturday March 23rdat 4pm in St Joseph’s Secondary School, Castleisland. (iii) The semi-finals for the Southern Region will be held on Sunday March 24th in Halla Pobail na Faille Móire in Uíbh Ráthach ag 2pm. (iv) The county finals, including the QUIZ, have been provisionally fixed for Saturday April 6th in the Glenbeigh Community Centre.
CAID FAOI 16: We all look forward to another enjoyable and challenging training session on Sunday morning next. Everybody welcome agus fáilte roimh chách – new as well as all established players. Depending on availability of cars and on tide times, we may head for Banna Beach to do some beach running some Sunday mornings. We had to change our training time due to the unavailability of pitches, etc, and, dá bhrí sin, our training time will now be from 12.00 to 1.15pm every Sunday morning. OFFICER TRAINING – Coiste na nÓg: (i) Officers are invited to attend the Club Leadership Programme (club officer training) at 7.15pm on Tuesday 12th February in the Tralee IT (Seomra T107, Main Building) or at 7.15pm on Tuesday 19th February in the Gleneagle Hotel (Innisfallen Suite), Killarney. (ii) Chairpersons, secretaries and public relations officers are also invited to attend a training course at 7.30pm on Wednesday 27th February at the Kerry Centre of Excellence (san Ionad Barr Feabhais – V93 A4 N6), Currans.
QUIZ – SENIOR SCÓR: The Kerry Scór quiz final is expected to take place on Friday March 8th in the Centre of Excellence (Ionad Barr Feabhais), Currow. All Clubs in Kerry are entitled to send a four (wo)man team to this table quiz and the winning team will go directly to the All-Ireland final which will take place in ‘The Travellers’ Friend’ Theatre/Hotel, Castlebar, County Mayo, on Saturday February 16th. Just one step to an All-Ireland final! Cuimhnigh air!
