THE 26 player Irish women’s rugby squad for the Six Nations was named this morning and Ciara Griffin from Ballymac will once again captain the team.
It was more good news for local players with Tralee native Ultan Dillane being named in the 35 man Irish squad for the Six Nations yesterday.
The Irish women’s team will kick-off their Six Nations campaign against Scotland at Energia Park, Donnybrook at 1pm on Sunday, February 2, with the men playing Scotland on Saturday, February 1 at 4.45pm in the Aviva Stadium.
