BRATZ BEWILDERED
Our u16, u14 and u12 male and female teams had a great run in the hills around Glanageenty last Sunday morning. The Lee Strand Bratz B’wildered run was co-ordinated from Herlihy’s farm and 12 teams ran across demanding terrain in glorious autumn weather.
Mike Brosnan successfully guided his team of Mike Hoare, Claire Kenny, Cian Godley, Aisling O’Connell, Mossie Brennan and Kieran Slattery to first place.
There was an overall great display of athletics and team spirit on the day. We acknowledge the work of the organising committee team mentors and stewards, James Sugrue and Siobhan Leen who did the catering and Brenda White and Paul Baynham who provided medical support, Cillian Rahilly and Ciara Curran who provided the entertainment. All are already looking forward to Bratz Bewildered 2016.

CAILINI FAOI 12
After attending training sessions every Saturday morning for the last eight weeks, five of the club’s under 12 girls panel travelled to St Joseph’s Doorabarefield in County Clare to represent the North Kerry Development Squad. Cora Savage , Sinead Mc Keown, Roisin Long, Emily O Donoghue and Sophie O Donoghue all did the club proud on the day competing against Galway, Tipperary and Clare on the way to winning the tournament.
It was great to see our girls more than hold their own throughout the day, with Cora Savage having the honour of winning player of the tournament, and being presented with her trophy by a member of the Clare Ladies County Board.
Well done Cora and to the other girls aswell. Ye did us proud. The achievements of these girls is testament to the great work being done by the coaches at underage level in the Club.
