Sinn Féin Kerry Deputy, Pa Daly, has expressed his disappointment at the news of the closure and hoped a solution can be found soon.
“This office, under the management of the late Postmistress Noreen Quirke has served the people of the Mitchels, Manor and Farmer’s Bridge areas very well for years. The shop and office closing permanently would be an awful loss to the town,” he said.
