PUPILS and staff at Caherleaheen are getting excited as their first fashion show fundraiser looms next week.

Taking place at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Thursday, May 18 at 7.30pm, the school is promising a fantastic night of fashion and entertainment.

There will be 17 local shops showcasing their clothes – including children’s wear, menswear and ladieswear –  on the night with both pupils, staff and parents preparing to take to the runway.

Some of the pupils have created their own fashions too, thanks to the help of local designer Rebekah Wall who took the time to give the youngsters her expertise.

Brian Hurley will be the MC and there will be some great spot prizes, including a two-night break at The Woodlands Hotel, Adare.
