THIS week saw a wonderful display of colourful home baking from Class 3C at CBS The Green.

As part of their CSPE Action Project, 3C organised and held a fundraising cake sale for Concern in the school. Students decided to raise funds for the wonderful work done by Concern across the globe following a visit to our school last October by Michael Commane from Concern.

Civic, Social and Political Education (CSPE) is a Junior Certificate course in active citizenship based on human rights and social responsibilities. Well done to all 28 students from 3C who co-ordinated the sale and made great use of their CSPE skills raising €355 for Concern.
