TWO CBS The Green students are shining in very different fields, one in the world of martial arts and the other in science maths.
Paul Browne from Caherslee is preparing to head to the capital to show his academic prowess in the National Science Olympiad Competition on the basis of his outstanding Junior Certificate results in Maths and Science.
Paul, who achieved over 98% in both subjects in his Junior Cert, will go to the event in Dublin City University in early November where he will compete with other students from around the country.

Six students will be selected to represent Ireland at the International Junior Science Olympiad in Botswana and a further six to represent Ireland at the European Union Science Olympiad in Portugal.
Meanwhile, Sean Sookarry has been busy winning some world championship medals. The teenager who is a member of the Black Belt Martial Academy in Pembroke Street travelled to the WMO Martial Arts world championships in sunny Albufeira, Portugal back in late September. Sean won a bronze and silver at the games.
