.

TRALEE Chamber Alliance is welcoming the announcement that phase one of the easing of restrictions will begin from Monday.

In a statement issued yesterday evening, the Chamber says it will come as a huge relief that society is starting to reopen, but this is just a first step on a long road for businesses.

Ken Tobin, CE of TCA said; “And, we know as slowly businesses begin to reopen the worry of ensuring our customers and employees are safe, on top of the concern over whether our businesses will even be viable, and how we will manage over the coming months, for some will prove very difficult.

We want you to know that Tralee Chamber will continue to support you, we will continue to advocate for greater supports for your business, and we know that your colleagues who own businesses will also be here to help. This is the beginning of a new difficult period for many in our business community.”
