A CHARITY concert will be held on next Sunday, April 26 with to help raise funds for the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
‘The Voices For Hospice’ concert, featuring the Kerry Choral Union (Seniors and Juniors) will celebrate 25 years of the Kerry Hospice Foundation (KHF) which was formed back in 1990. Proceeds from the night go towards helping out the KHF.
The night will be kicking off at Our Lady and St. Brendan’s Church at 7.30pm with tickets costing €10 and will be available at the door.
Work will be beginning shortly on a new building which will include a new 15 bed in-patient unit that will open in 2016.
With the cost of this at an estimated €5.5 million, it is hoped that this charity concert will a little way towards helping to raise funds for it. Plans for the new building be on display at the church entrance on the night.
On the night visitors will be treated to a raffle (tickets will only be sold at the church door) where the winners will be announced at the end of the night. Also on hand will be the dulcet tones of both the ‘ who will be performing at the event.
