“With a wealth of experience in high profile hotels both in Ireland and Australia, and having recently graduated with a Masters in Culinary Arts Management, Kay runs the Professional Cookery programme at the college and promises to share on the night her expertise for perfecting the annual Christmas delights,” said Mary Murphy, Assistant Principal at the college.

Edible gifts and alternatives to the traditional food items will be just part of the focus as Kay will demonstrate ice cream based Christmas pudding, Christmas logs, truffles, chocolate biscuits, savory canopies and much more.

You will also learn how to make memories for kids as Kay will give some smart ideas on how to involve children in the kitchen fun.

“On behalf of the college I take this opportunity to sincerely thank the numerous businesses who sponsored such generous prizes which will be raffled on the night,” said Mary.

Tickets for the event (Thursday 8th December commencing at 6.30pm) are priced at €10 and are selling like hotcakes.  They can be booked by calling the college office on 066 7121741.

“This is an occasion not to be missed for food lovers and culinary novices alike and what’s more you will be contributing to a good cause as the event is a fundraiser for the local St. Vincent De Paul,” Mary said.
