CHURCHILL GAA have launched a fundraising drive to raise €150,000 to finish the dressing-rooms development at their grounds.

In 2013 the club invested €250,000 in their new playing pitch which is rated among the most scenic in the country.

They are now in the process of building their new dressing rooms, meeting room, waste water treatment unit and car park which is planned for completion by the end of the year.

The total cost of this development is €500,000 and two generous benefactors have contributed €280,000.

The club has been approved for grant aid of €55,000 and they anticipate a further contribution of €15,000 from the Munster Council.

They are appealing to all families involved in the club to help them make up this €150,000 by contributing €500 as a once-off payment or  by five €100 instalments.

The contributors will be entitled to one year’s adult membership, the family name displayed for posterity in the new clubhouse and the option to purchase one ticket for the first All-Ireland final in which Kerry participate in the next three years — 2018, 2019 and 2020 (subject to availability).

The club is enjoying a successful year on many levels and has an adult membership of 120, 156 juveniles and a ladies club membership of 70. For more details contact the club via their facebook page here
