CHURCHILL Drama Players Group will pay tribute to their great departed friend and colleague, the late Tommy Brosnan next weekend.
The Group, which is celebrating their 25th anniversary, is bringing their “Springtime Variety Show” to Siamsa Tire on Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 and it’s all in honour of Tommy, who was such a prominent member of the Group down the years.
“We are donating the proceeds to The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, ,” said Veronica Kelly of the Churchill Drama Players Group.
Tommy sadly succumbed to Motor Neurone Disease last May.
“It is a great honour and privilege for the members of our parish and our schoolchildren to honour Tommy in this way. Over the years we have donated money to various charities and this year is no exception,” said Veronica.
This year, the show is under the direction of renowned, award winning AIMS Director, Oliver Hurley and well known Musical Director, Noelle Barrett.
The show is a big undertaking for such a small organisation, but they have great spirit and are sure they’ll receive the necessary support to achieve the success it deserves.
Tickets €15.00 Adult and Concessions €13.00 are available at Siamsa Tire Box Office -066-7123055
