CLLR Pa Daly has confirmed he is seeking to run for Sinn Féin in the next General Election.
Earlier this year, Cllr Toireasa Ferris said she would not be running in the next election and with her father Martin announcing his retirement after this term is up, it leaves a void to be filled by Sinn Féin in Kerry.
The Oakpark native said he has already met with party members in Tralee and around the county seeking their support and he intends putting his name forward at the party’s Kerry convention to be held in the next month.
Cllr Daly was co-opted on to the Tralee Town Council in 2o12 and was elected to the Tralee Municipal District of Kerry County Council in 2014. He was re-elected to the Council in May this year.
Tralee really needs a TD great news
