Colm Cooper Celebrated By AIB As He Takes On New Role

AIB hosted a star-studded event in The Malton Hotel in Killarney last night to mark Colm Cooper’s retirement inter-county football.

Colm who has worked with AIB since 2004, retired from inter-county GAA in April 2017 following a stellar career spanning 15 years.

Colm is now taking on a new role as AIB’s Business Development Manager for Kerry, having worked in a national youth ambassador role previously.

Speaking at the event, Robert Mulhall, AIB’s Managing Director of Retail and Commercial Banking Ireland said: “I am delighted to be here to celebrate Colm’s excellence in his GAA career and his continued excellence with the AIB team. In his new role as Business Development Manager for Kerry, Colm will work with our Kerry Local Market team to meet with business owners, deliver fantastic customer service and grow business across the county”.

At the event in Killarney’s Malton Hotel, Colm was presented with a specially commissioned hand-sculpted piece by Jarlath Daly. Other attendees on the night included GAA Ard Stiurthoir Paraic Duffy.
