KERRY County Council have submitted a detailed developmental proposal for the Denny Site in Tralee which is set to cost over €3m.
The proposal – involves the demolition of the site, its interim use as an amenity area and the preparation of a master plan for its future long term development.

The submission also deals with the site’s connectivity to the town centre and the improvement of the adjoining streetscapes in conjunction with the smarter travel programme.
The proposal was submitted as its number one priority under the Designated Urban Centre Grant Scheme Southern and Eastern Operational Programme 2014-2020.
The Denny site was handed over to Tralee Town Council by Kerry Group back in 2014.
