“The cast and the audiences love it. There wasn’t a Christmas panto in Tralee for years until we brought it back around six years ago and it has gone from strength to strength since,” said Aladdin’s director, Oliver Hurley.
“The panto has been selling out every year so hopefully this year will be no different. But we still have tickets for every performance at this point,” said Oliver.
“We’ve a cast of about 80 people and a great cast of leads used to doing panto,” said Oliver.

“You always need a highlight moment in a panto. The big thing we have for audiences this year is a flying carpet sequence which you’ve got to have when doing Aladdin. When we showed it to the cast they were blown away by it, so hopefully the people who come to see us will be even more enthusiastic about it,” said Oliver.
