A SPECIAL Mass will be held next week in memory of Donal Walsh as the second anniversary of his passing approaches.
The Blennerville teenager lost his long fight with cancer on May 12, 2013, but his campaigning ensured that his name and message would not be forgotten.
Donal’s anti-suicide message came to national attention after he appeared on ‘The Saturday Night Show’ with Brendan O’ Connor.
He encouraged those looking for help to seek it out, that there is always someone willing to listen and that life should always be lived to the full.
His name has lived on since his passing through the work of the ‘LiveLife Foundation’ who host various events and fundraisers around the country every year.
The special mass to mark the anniversary will take place at 1.05pm in the Dominican Church, beside the Brandon Hotel on Tuesday, May 12.
