THE family of a Spa Road woman  held a special celebration to mark her 80th birthday in Kerins O’Rahilly’s Clubhouse on Friday evening.

Catherine O’Connor, originally from Castleisland, was joined by her children and siblings to celebrate the milestone. She was joined by children Catherine O’Connor, PJ O’Connor, Joe O’Connor and Elizabeth Gallagher. Missing on the night were her daughter Alice O’Connor and son Aidan O’Connor.

She was also joined by brother and sisters Jerry Sugrue, Hanna Carroll, Mary Brosnan, and other family.

A great evening was enjoyed by all present.
