ANOTHER Tralee name can be added to the Electric Picnic line-up along with Gary Keane, Oi Oi Soundsystem and The Gluten Free Kitchen.
Novelty T-Shirt business, Fancypants Tees will also be selling their products at Ireland’s largest music festival.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the news, it’s a fantastic boost,” said Suzan O’Gara of Fancypants Tees.
“We’re delighted there is more people coming up from Tralee, between us all, we’ll have us fed, watered, entertained and dressed!” she said.

The shirts are created by using a technique called ‘photo realistic printing’ and are ordered in from America. They feature a multi-layered effect which give the impression that you’re wearing a number of items of clothing or nothing at all!
“There was a lot of over and back between us and the festival. We got the call last week that we were coming on board and will be up around the ‘Body & Soul’ area,” said Suzan.
“We were looking for the right place to sell them to the right type of audience,” she continued.
“My Mother Oonagh was in Camden market January last and came across a stall selling the t-shirts. She thought they were a great idea so decided to investigate further into them and became the only distributor of the shirts in the Republic of Ireland,” said Suzan.
“We started off with a few shirts at the start and launched a Facebook page to generate interest. We also went to Limerick Milk Market at the weekends to get them out there to the public,” said Suzan.
“It started out relatively slow but it’s starting to pick up now with the news we’ll be at Electric Picnic,” she said.
