BALLYHEIGUE Community Centre will be rocking to the music of ABBA on Sunday, July 3 when ‘My My Mama Mia: An ABBA Tribute Musical Concert’ takes place.
The Centre in association with Joe Burkett Theatre Company are putting on the show in aid of the centre and they promise a night to remember.
“This is our first fundraiser since 2019. We are hugely excited about the production and very much looking forward to welcoming all patrons back to Ballyheigue Community Centre,” said manager Joanne Leen.

“We have a huge cast involved in the production from our leading adult cast to our ensemble stage school cast. It really is a show for all the family. Any ABBA lovers out there; this is the show for you,” said director Joe Burkett.
The cast includes Eimear Galivan, Jimmy Hehir, Samantha Drury, Cathal O’Reagan, Grainne O’Rourke, Stephen Flaherty, Fiona Moriarty, Joe Burkett, Pat Sheehan, Katie-Ellen Reidy, Jade Daughton and Liam Carroll.
The cast will be accompanied by a choir of amazing singers for the two shows led by musical director Maura O’Sullivan. Joining Maura with their vocal talents are Fiona Flynn, Catherine O’Sullivan, Lucy Godley and Katie Godley.

The ensemble cast are pupils from Joe Burkett Theatre Conpany’s stage school with students from Ballyheigue, Ardfert, Abbeydorney, Causeway, Rathmore and Killarney taking to the stage.
The show is directed and choreographed by Joe Burkett, musical director Maura O’Sullivan, choreographer Andrea O Callaghan and producer Joanne Leen.

Two shows will take place on Sunday, July 3 — the matinee show will begin at 2pm with the evening show being staged at 7pm. Tickets available on the door priced €12 (Adult) and €6 (Child, Student and OAP).
