A MALE pedestrian has died after a road accident this morning on the main Tralee to Ardfert road near the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.

It’s believed that the pedestrian was a middle-aged local man. Gardaí are investigating the accident which occurred at 8.35am and have appealed for witnesses to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
