FENIT is the place to be over the coming days for with an exciting programme of events where people can immerse themselves in our natural surrounds and foster our compassion for our planet.
The Wild Mind outdoor festival is a celebration of our natural environment, nestled between the Kerry mountains and the Wild Atlantic Ocean it holds space for people to engage with the local environment, to learn about our wildlife systems and to open our minds to potential for change our planet so desperately needs.

Over the course of five days, a number of events are taking place starting today with a documentary screening of ‘Tomorrow’ in Siamsa Tíre at 8pm.
Friday sees the official launch in ‘The Barn’ which will be specially erected in the playground car park. Mary Reynolds will give a talk, ‘We Are The Ark’ followed by a screening of ‘Rachel Carson’.
Saturday and Sunday sees a host of events including a lighthouse kayak tour, eco sea safari, numerous workshop and talks, children’s entertainment and music. For a full programme see their facebook page here or click here to go to their website.
