1. ‘Eamonn’ to MC at Fashion Show
Bernard O’Shea of ‘Bridget and Eamonn’ fame is coming ‘home’ tonight to MC a fashion show.
Bernard, whose dad hails from Kerry, will take on duties at the Rose Hotel for a fashion show fundraiser for Aughacasla National School.
Top fashions from Jasmine, Effigy, Weardrobe, Goose Boutique, Annbury’s, Mods and Minis and many more will modelled. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are €20 at the door.

2. Explore Tralee’s history
Former Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dick Spring will officially open the Tralee 800 Conference this evening in Siamsa Tíre Theatre.
The two-day conference in Siamsa and the Rose Hotel will explore the 800 year history of Tralee and earlier. It forms part of this year’s Tralee 800 Programme and is a must for anyone with an interest in the town’s history. Click here for more details
Saturday
3. Manor West fun
Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park are organising a “Family Funday” from 12 noon.
The day will feature lots of fun things to do for kids of all ages, the highlight of which will be “The Animal Roadshow” which will be on site from 1pm.
The Animal Roadshow, will host a mini zoo in the centre with a range of different types of animals including Snakes, Lizard, Tortoises, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, an Owl and lots of creepy crawlies that are still hanging around after the Halloween celebrations, such as slimey snails, tickley spiders, scorpions and other teeney insects! Great fun for all the family then.
4. The battle for St Brendan’s
This Saturday sees St Pat’s of Blennerville and Ardfert take to the field to contest the St Brendan’s Football Board Championship final take place at 2pm in Ardfert so there should be a good crowd from both clubs cheering on their sides.
5. Warriors return
Irish TV Tralee Warriors are back at their Tralee Sports and Leisure Centre base this Saturday night for a home game against DCU Saints at 8pm.
The Warriors will want to keep up their great league form after their setback last weekend when they lost to Swords Thunder in the second leg of their National Cup tie by 76 to 64. Expect another huge crowd to pack out the venue so get their early!
