TraleeToday.ie’s coverage of the Rose of Tralee International Festival is brought to you by AIB Tralee…
It’s been a hectic couple of days and Monday brings more festival fun to enjoy around town. Here’s a few suggestions on what to get up to today…
1. Family fun continues…
The Féile na mBláth festival continues again today in the Town Park with Family Camps, a Flower Show, The Big Dig, Fanzini Brother, Circus work- shop, Drum Dance & Hoolie, Kids Party Club, Kingdom Party Pals.
The Family Town Show features ‘Madagascar – A Musical Adventure’ with Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, The Penguins & of course King Julien. Well worth a visit with the young kids (see full programme below).

2. Browse the markets…
There’s been a great buzz around Denny Street and The Mall since Friday and it continues today and tomorrow. The food vendors are doing a roaring trade so head down and sample the atmosphere.
3. Free music entertainment…
After the massive success of the ABBA and Elton John tribute acts on the Denny Street stage last night, it’s the turn of country and Irish star Clíona Hagan tonight from 8pm to 10pm.
If country ain’t your thing, then you can rock to Arklight in The Square from 9pm to 11pm.

4. Go for a ride…
It wouldn’t be a festival without Birds Amusements and that’s evident by the huge crowds flocking to the Brandon Car Park and Parklands. Be warned though, you’ll need deep pockets if you’re staying there very long!
5. Fun in the Dome…
The Dome in the Abbey Car Park will host Block Rockin’ Beats with Today FM’s Dec Pierce. Party the night away with the biggest dance anthems featuring a DJ set with live tribal drummers. 11pm to 2am, tickets are €29.50.
