Friday
1. Discover architecture…
There’s loads of events planned in Tralee for the weekend as part of the inaugural Architecture Kerry Festival.
The event, which will showcase and celebrate the best of the county’s architectural heritage, will take place from September 28 to 30 and will feature talks, free guided tours, exhibitions, workshops and family events. For more details of Tralee events, click here.
Saturday
2. Championship hots up…
What a night in store at Austin Stack Park with a double-header in the Garvey’s Supervalu Kerry SFC quarter-finals.
Austin Stacks play Dingle at 6pm followed by a local derby with Kerins O’Rahillys against St Brendan’s at 7.45pm. Admission is €13. There’s sure to be a massive crowd and it’ll make for a great start to Saturday night in town.

3. The Warriors begin again…
Another derby will take place just a few hundred yards from Austin Stack Park when Garvey’s Tralee Warriors begin their Men’s Superleague campaign against Killorglin CYMS.
Again, there’s sure to be a big turnout but get there well before the 7.30pm tip-off if you want a seat on what is sure to be a great night of entertainment as always.
Sunday
4. Go for a fun run…
Hundreds are expected at CBS The Green for the fourth annual 5k/3k fun run at 1pm. There’s be loads of trophies for the winners and runners-up.
Throw in an ice-cream van, bouncy castles, music and post-race refreshments and you’ve got a great way to spend the early afternoon.
Registration will also be available on Saturday, September 29 at the school between 2pm and 6pm and on the morning of the run from 9am onwards. The cost of the event is €10 for adults and €5 for students and kids.
