‘A Family Affair’ continues the story of Audrey and Davy, following their marriage in last year’s hit drama ‘Til Death Do Us Part’.
Davy (Stuart Daley) has absconded and left his bride Audrey (Máiréad de Búrca) to deal with the fall out between their families. Both families are rivalling over land & their attempts to resolve disputes have unforeseen, and often hilarious, circumstances.
Over the telling of Audrey’s story we meet familiar characters from last year’s production as well as new and original ones including Davy’s kind & innocent brother Rory (Maitiú Ó Duinneacha Ó Ríordáin), crazy Fr. O’Shea (Cillian Ó hÓráin), henpecked Raymond (William Mac Searraigh) and Gardaí Ronnie and Connie (Niamh & Aoife de Gascún).
With the help of Mary Quirke and teachers, TY students are running every aspect of this production from sound, lighting and props, to ticket sales and marketing.
