GARDAI in Tralee are appealing for information regarding a burglary at a bookmakers in Tralee at the weekend.

Between 10pm on Saturday, May 11 and 9am on Sunday morning, entry was gained into Versus Bookmakers on Russell Street, via a skylight on the building.

A quantity of cash was stolen from the premises. Gardaí are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around that time to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

Separately, Gardaí are appealing for information regarding an incident involving damage to a parked vehicle. This happened on Thursday, May 9 in the area near Liber House in Monavalley.

The owner of a vehicle parked their car at 8.45am and returned to it at 6.45pm that evening. When they came back, they discovered their blue Ford Fiesta had been substantially damaged.

It is suspected another vehicle collided with the Fiesta. If anyone witnessed the incident, or has any information, they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station.
