GARDAI are investigating a burglary at Hurley Veterinary Hospital on Brewery Road over the bank holiday weekend.
The break in occurred between 10pm Sunday night and 9am on Monday morning, May 31/June 1.
Entry was gained by smashing a window at the premises. During the burglary, a cash register, which had a small sum of cash, was taken from the premises.
The Hurley Veterinary Hospital, is just on the corner of Brewery Road and Upper Rock St, just opposite St Brendan’s Church.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Upper Rock Street or Brewery Road on the night.
This would have been a busy time in the area with many people out and about enjoying the bank holiday weekend.
