Gardaí Report A Relatively Quiet Festival On The Crime Front

garda_1GARDAI say 32 people were arrested for Public Order Offences over the weekend in Tralee, but crowds have generally been well behaved.

There were 15 arrests made on Friday night, five on Saturday and 12 on Sunday night.

Most of the incidents were due to people drinking too much alcohol.

Meanwhile, a man has been arrested in relation to the theft of an accordion worth €5,000 from An Cearnóg pub in The Square yesterday (see previous story here).

He was arrested in the early hours of Monday and is being questioned by Gardaí in relation to the incident.
