A GARDEN of remembrance for the victims of the CervicalCheck Scandal is planned for Tralee.

The idea came from the late Emma Mhic Mhathúna, the campaigner who lost her life last October after being diagnosed with cancer early in 2018.

Cllr Toireasa Ferris got to know Emma — who lived in Ballydavid — last year and said it was her wish to create such a space. An event in Dublin raised between three and four thousand euro towards the garden and councillors allocations will be used to make up the balance.

  1. Seriously sad that so many women put their trust in the medical profession and their so called advice
Only to be totally let down by them
Heartbreaking that so many women who are no longer alive having done everything that they were told to do right to their deaths
